Fill in Drummer was created to provide you a solution to your Drummer/Percussionist needs when your drummer is not available for your Gig.
With 20+ years experience as a Drummer/Percussionist playing a variety of Genres, you can rely on me to fit the style of your band. I have experience playing with small Jazz/Pop or instrumental quartets up to a large Rock, Jazz/Rock or Rhythm and Blues Horn Band. Currently I play Drums and Percussion with "The Time and Again Band". They are a Decades type Band playing The 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and into the 2000's, including Today's Hits. Time and Again Band are well known for playing both indoor and outdoor venues. From 2014 thru 2019 we played 26+ occasions at The Suffolk Downs Racing and Food Truck Festivals. We also played The Topsfield Fair in 2019. We were also scheduled to play at the Fair in 2020, however the Fair was cancelled due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. We have already been contacted to perform at the 2021 Topsfield Fair.
I have filled in as Drummer/Percussionist for the following bands:
- Black Velvet Band - Irish and American Music - Events, Parties, etc.
- Back Track - a sixties Girl Group/Top 40's Band
- One Moe Time - a diverse horn band playing the 60's thru today
Over the course of my career starting with the most recent, I gained my experience playing in bands such as these:
- Billy D and The Rockets - a Doo-Wop band in which I played at Prowse Farm and a Private event on Salisbury Beach
- The Juke Box 5 - a throwback to the The 50's and 60's Groups and Girl Group Bands in which we played at Prowse Farm and were also featured in Darlyne Franklin's Interactive show Wicked Mob Wives of Boston as Juke box 5 and The Shing-A-Lings.
- The Marie Michaels and Company Band - featuring Marie Michaels and Steve Tello (Quarantiello). It was a Disco Top 40 Show Band which had a Donny and Marie show feel to it (A little bit country a little bit Rock and Roll and Disco)
- The Network - an Elvis Show/Disco and Top 40 Band
- The Harbor Band - Top 40
I can play by ear and was trained by Berklee Teacher and Drummer mentor Carl Goodwin to play Drums using various Drum books for site reading and styles of music. I can sing leads on songs when needed and can sing backup with harmony.
